BWE BELL + HOWELL SCANNERS EXPANDS INTERNATIONAL EFFORTS, SALES FORCE WITH FOUR PROMOTIONS, THREE NEW HIRES

BWE BELL + HOWELL Scanners is fulfilling its vision of continued worldwide growth by adding seasoned professionals to its senior management team, by expanding its international markets and recruiting and promoting talented individuals within the division.

Michael Scheller, 39, has been promoted to vice president of engineering, operations and manufacturing.  In his new role, Scheller will bring additional focus to the division's engineering excellence and spearhead the development of industry leading document scanner products.  He also will oversee improvements in the manufacturing process and work to strengthen the company's supply chain partnerships.

In 1998, Scheller joined the company as a principal mechanical engineer.  His work helped secure a major contract with FedEx for BWE BELL + HOWELL. After his promotion in 2002 to director of engineering, Scheller's efforts improved the division's overall profitability.  Scheller holds a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign and a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

Mark Neff, 41, has been promoted to worldwide director of channel sales for the scanner division.  In his new role, Neff will be responsible for worldwide channel strategy, partner recruitment and channel programs.  He will work with his team to develop and manage the Big Picture VAR programs, co-operative advertising budgets and marketing development funds.

In 2002, Neff joined BWE BELL + HOWELL Scanners as a business development manager for the federal market.  His work helped strengthen the company's relationships with federal channel partners.  Neff holds a bachelor's degree in finance and marketing from the University of Maryland in College Park, Md.  He earned his MBA from the University of Maryland.

Babatunde Olusanya, 39, has been promoted to territory manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.  In his new role, Olusanya will handle the day-to-day management of the European sales team.  In 2001, Olusanya joined the team as a regional sales manager for Europe.  His efforts strengthened relationships with European VARs and distributors and increased European business.  Previously, Olusanya worked as a reseller channel manager and a channel marketing consultant in the United Kingdom.

Jiaqing Wang, 39, has been promoted to country manger for the People's Republic of China.  In this newly created position, Wang will be responsible for all sales, marketing and post-sales support activities for BWE BELL + HOWELL Scanners in China. Hired as a regional sales manager in 2004, Wang successfully led the fast growing team in China and managed all day-to-day operations for the region.

In his expanded role, Wang will continue to develop a more competitive pricing structure, outline sales goals and drive results. He also will work to better support the company's new and existing channel partners in China. Wang earned a master's of business administration from Concordia University, Montreal (Canada), a master's in computer science from Rivier College, Nashua, New Hampshire (United States), and a bachelor's degree from the Civil Aviation Institute of China, Tian Jin.

Sebastian Lau, 31, has taken on an expanded role in BWE BELL + HOWELL's international sales division.  As of May 1, 2006, his responsibilities as European regional sales manager have grown to include Switzerland and Austria, in addition to his work in Germany, Benelux and the Nordic region.Lau is based out of Helsingborg, Sweden.

With seven years of experience in technology sales, he is well prepared to continue to develop these markets and foster relationships with new and existing channel partners.  Lau earned his bachelor's degree at Gothenburg University, Gothenburg, Sweden.

Daniel Carillo, 35, joins BWE BELL + HOWELL in Mexico City as a regional sales manager for Latin America and the Caribbean.  In his new role, Carillo will help cultivate business in the region.  Carillo has nearly 15 years of experience in high technology sales.  Previously, he served as a business development manager at BWE BELL + HOWELL VAR partner Grupo ECCE, an imaging and enterprise content management solution provider.  Carillo holds a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from ITAM in Mexico City and earned a post-graduate business administration degree from ITESM in Mexico City.

Weidong Liu, 37, comes to BWE BELL + HOWELL as a regional sales manager in the Beijing office.  Liu has more than six years of scanner sales experience.  He previously served as senior project manager at a Chinese scanner distributor.

Before joining the document imaging industry, Liu worked as an engineer and then as a project manager.  He holds a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from Xian University in Xian.

Nilda Mercado, 40, joins the scanner division as a distribution sales representative in the Wheeling headquarters.  In her new role, Mercado will be responsible for supporting scanner products and services to the company's distribution channel partners.  Mercado has been with BWE BELL + HOWELL for 16 years.  In the past, she has worked in the sorting division and the program management department.
