Sharp scoops four BERTL Awards for MX printer range

MX range of multifunction colour printers receives 'Five Star Exceptional Awards' from BERTL

Sharp Electronics (UK) Ltd has received the highest accolade from the BERTL organisation for its range of 'MX' digital multifunction colour printers.  The Sharp MX-4501N, MX-3501N, MX-2700N and MX-2300N all scooped BERTL Five Star Exceptional Awards for their stunning colour performance and outstanding functionality.

BERTL is the leading independent authority on digital imaging performance and industry benchmark testing.  It publishes product evaluation reviews on several hundred printers, fax, multifunction, colour and production devices every year, and out of the hundreds of devices reviewed, only a small number are recognised with the prestigious Five Stars Exceptional rating. According to BERTL, this rating is reserved for devices that deliver an outstanding range of business-critical features and functions, are innovative, easy-to-use and well designed.  Products in this category represent exceptional value for the target user base.

Launched in February 2006, the Sharp MX-2300N, MX-2700N, MX-3501N and MX-4501N have set new standards with their advanced colour, speed, security and environmental performance.   The MX-2700N and MX-2300N provide output speeds of 27ppm and 23ppm respectively for both colour and black & white documents, delivering full colour copy, networking printing and network scanning functions for documents up to A3 in size.  The MX-3501N and MX-4501N boast all the colour, networking, security and environmental features synonymous with the MX range, while delivering enhanced colour and mono output speeds of 35ppm for copying and printing (45ppm mono on MX-4501N) as well as powerful additional network printing solutions via an optional Fiery Controller.
