Spectrum XF and new Truper 3600 take top prizes at annual ECM exhibition
Two BWE BELL + HOWELL document scanners, Spectrum XF and the new Truper 3600, won Best of Show Awards at the AIIM 2006 Exhibition in Philadelphia, making BWE BELL + HOWELL the only scanner manufacturer ever to win multiple AIIM E-DOC Magazine Best of AIIM Show Awards in a single year.
The annual awards recognize hardware and software technologies exhibited at the AIIM Expo that demonstrate exceptional capabilities and quality, and show evidence of significant ROI (Return on Investment) potential, according to a statement by AIIM, the international authority on Enterprise Content Management.
Spectrum XF was recognized in the Production Scanners category. Available since fall 2005, Spectrum XF is built on a proven, high-volume scanner platform. With the industrys most advanced camera, the SharpShooter(TM) TriLinear CCD, and onboard VirtualReScan(R) (VRS) 4.0 Plus image enhancement technology, Spectrum XF has a maximum speed of 140 pages per minute (ppm) -- up to 20 percent faster than other scanners in its class.
Introduced in March 2006, the rotary-only Truper 3600 won the AIIM E-DOC Magazine Best of AIIM Show Award for the Mid-volume Scanners category. The Truper 3600 features exceptional speed and a very high duty cycle for a low-volume production scanner. Designed for the everyday document imaging needs of businesses in finance, insurance, healthcare, transportation and government, the scanner is compact, powerful and easy to use.
A panel of 22 industry experts selected the winning products. In a statement, AIIM E-DOC Magazine Editor Bryant Duhon said, These products exhibit technology excellence and an attention to the needs of organizations (large and small / private and public) across the globe.
