DAP Technologies, a leading manufacturer of rugged mobile computing solutions and services, today announced the appointment of Gerallt Jones (pictured right) to the position of Business Development Manager, United Kingdom division. With an extensive background in business development, mobile sales and technology, Gerallt will be an asset as the company continues its growth in Europe.
In his new role, Jones will develop and support growth and sales opportunities in territories throughout the United Kingdom, and will be involved in account management, sales forecasting, and client development initiatives.
The popularity of DAPs rugged mobile solutions continues to grow in the U.K., and the addition of Gerallt Jones to our knowledgeable team will ensure we are well-positioned to capitalize on the demand, said Michael Gioseffi, president of DAP Technologies. Gerallts expertise in the mobile industry, specifically within the utility and energy sector, will help us provide the right solutions for our growing list of clients and partners.
Prior to joining DAP, Jones held positions in business development, including negotiating and completing new business propositions for mobile communications, messaging and data management within the utility/energy sectors. Until recently, he was a strategic sales manager for CMC Mobile Computing Ltd., where he was responsible for strategic sales for niche mobile products, including in-vehicle PC systems and ultra rugged tablet personal computers.
