Constantly focusing on the technological growth requirements of companies that increasingly need advanced solutions in terms of service reliability and continuity, Emerson Network Power has extended the Liebert GXT2 range with the new 10 kVA Adaptive Power version, in a Rack variant specifically conceived for third-generation data centres.
Designed and manufactured for the protection of IT loads, including Blade Servers, Voice over IP devices, Data Centres, Pizza Box Servers, network nodes and telecom applications, the new Liebert GXT2 10 kVA UPS in a compact System, is the Adaptive Power solution by Emerson Network Power created to meet the reliability and flexibility needs of organizations seeking to protect their mission-critical infrastructures.
Available in tower and rack versions, the new Liebert GXT2 module delivers excellent performance to guarantee the best possible power quality and, in addition, can be used to create a redundant protection system by paralleling up to three units to achieve total extended capacity of up to 30 kVA. A high-performance UPS with proven reliability, Liebert GXT2 features are completed by custom configurability, hot-swap internal batteries and extendable runtime in a compact rack design.
There are multiple options. One or two units can be used to protect the load with one redundant unit, or one unit can be used for protection and two for redundancy, or all units can be dedicated to the connected load. As a result, the adopted solution can grow and adapt to the changing requirements of the connected load, for example by changing the system redundancy as required, but without additional costs or installations.
Like the existing models in the Liebert GXT2 range, the 10 kVA rated module also features, among other benefits, the use of online double conversion technology, which allows power factor correction for reliable and clean power supply, and zero time switching from external to internal supply, with the consequent benefit of immediate activation of the UPS in case of blackout.
Featuring universal communication options, backup time of up to two hours, and configuration according to user-specific voltage and frequency parameters, 10 kVA Liebert GXT2 also offers a DSP Controller, a micro processor that can deliver the best performance in terms of voltage accuracy, yield and reliability. Further features include a Power Factor Corrector (PFC) Rectifier, the power factor correction circuit that ensures sophisticated protection and the elimination of input harmonics, and the Intellislot System which, together with the relay interface card, offers a wide range of communication options for power supply monitoring and control.
