NCR and Subtotal to Offer Approved SUBWAY Restaurant Chain Point-of-Sale Solution

Reseller Subtotal to offer NCR RealPOS as part of total SUBWAY chain solution

The SUBWAY restaurant chain, the worlds second largest fast-food franchise, has named NCR Corporation an approved point-of-sale (POS) solution provider.  The NCR RealPOS 70 product line will be sold to the SUBWAY chains 24,000 worldwide franchisees exclusively through Subtotal POS Systems Ltd., a Nova Scotia-based reseller.

Subtotals arrangement with NCR will allow the company to offer a fully integrated POS solution designed specifically for the hospitality quick-service environment.  The NCR RealPOS 70 is built around Intels EmbeddedATX specification, providing a stable POS platform and extended lifecycle through the use of an industry-standard motherboard design.    The 2.4 GHz Intel Pentium 4 processors will be offered with a 15-inch touch screen.
