McAfee, Inc. LAUNCHES GLOBAL SERVICES STRATEGY providing Services growth opportunities for PARTNERs

New Opportunities for Resellers to Build a Solid Security Services Practice Leveraging McAfee Solution Services

McAfee, Inc.,  the leading dedicated security technology company, today unveiled its Global Services Strategy, which is designed to drive engagement and deployment services through our solution providers. Authorised partners can now sell and deliver mainstream services to their customers, which will enable McAfee's services resources to focus on emerging technologies, complex customer deployments, strategic customers' implementations and helping partners to build security services practices.

Under the leadership of Jim Sargent, vice president sales engineering and solutions services at McAfee, Inc., McAfee will train and certify partner technical resources to equip them to become an extension of McAfee's services organisation. A branded implementation methodology and packaged offerings will be available to help solution providers sell to their customers. McAfee will also implement a customer satisfaction process to ensure customers are receiving the highest quality of service possible through our services-enabled partners.

"Delivering a fully-aligned, fee-based services organisation that is designed for partner development, as well as end-user quality and satisfaction, is the next evolution in meeting channel expectations, said Sargent. "Security technologies are complex, and there is a growing services market that partners can target to accelerate revenues and profits. McAfee is committed to driving more revenue opportunities to its partners, and a complementary services strategy is a key component in ensuring their growth and profitability."

"McAfee's services strategy is a welcome addition to the overall channel strategy and continues to validate McAfee's commitment to a being a
channel-friendly organisation," said Brandy Peterson, chief technology officer of Fishnet Security. "We welcome any professional service strategy
that raises the bar, as it represents an opportunity to differentiate ourselves and provide enhanced service to the customer."

The McAfee Global Services Strategy and its programmatic framework will complement McAfee SecurityAlliance(tm) and will formally launch in April 2006 with service delivery guides, services certification and additional benefits for participation.
