Plasmon launches channel partner recruitment campaign

Leading data storage company is looking to recruit reseller partners for its Raidtec Solutions product range

Plasmon (LSE: PLM), a market leader for professional data storage solutions, today announced the launch of its channel partner recruitment campaign, Operation RAID.  Plasmon will be recruiting reseller partners for its range of Raidtec Solutions, which includes NAS, SCSI and Fibre Channel RAID storage systems and is offering a 20% discount incentive on all first orders.

Operation RAID re-launches the Raidtec product line into the European storage channel.  Plasmon has made a significant investment in product development and we are firmly committed to the RAID storage market.  With the recent release of our new CS3102 and FS3102 offerings, we have an excellent product line with outstanding service, said Paul Devine, director of sales EMEA for Raidtec Solutions at Plasmon.  Since all Raidtec Solutions products are designed and manufactured in Europe we can also offer a level of sales, marketing and technical support that can not be matched by our competition who are based in North America and Asia.

Plasmon is promoting the Operation RAID programme in combination with its already established distribution partners in the UK/Ireland, Benelux, Germany, Italy and France.  The programme introduces the new range of Raidtec Solutions to the storage reseller community and offers a 20% discount incentive on all first orders.  In addition, a select number of new partners can also qualify for Elite Reseller status, which provides a special package of sales, marketing and technical support direct from Plasmon.

Raidtec Solutions are out-of-the-box, plug-and-play RAID storage systems that give organisations the ability to manage their growing storage needs with a broad range of NAS, SCSI and Fibre Channel connectivity options.  Designed, developed and manufactured by Plasmon in Europe, the Raidtec Solutions offer excellent performance, data availability and system reliability at very competitive prices.

As part of Plasmons Service Direct offering, all European customers who have purchased a new Raidtec CS3102 or FS3102 since September 1st 2005 will automatically receive free on-site support for the first year when they register their product.  The Raidtec Solutions CS and FS product lines now come with a three year warranty as standard. It provides customers with full access to online product resources, telephone technical support and free on-site response in the first year.  Where service requirements are more stringent, Plasmons Service Direct 24x7, Same Business Day (SBD) and Next Business Day (NBD) Coverage options provide even greater flexibility for demanding service level environments.

Channel partners will have access to Quoteman, an online quote generator from Plasmon that works 24/7, 365 days a year.
