The connectivity of the Dragon extra long range industrial laser reader has been extended for a wide range of forklift terminals.
Datalogic has improved the utility of its successful Dragon extra long range hand held readers by making it possible to connect them to the most diffused vehicle mount terminals on the market.
The wide range of Dragon models includes high performance, long range and extra long range optics for the versions with cable suitable for applications where the operator always remains seated of the fork lift truck, and high performance and long range optics for the radio version both with or without display, which is the best solution when used with the Star-Modem for applications where the operator needs to both it on the forklift truck and walk around it.
Now it is possible to use the Dragon XLR model not only with Datalogics range of Rhino VMTs but also with those of all major manufacturers simply by substituting the cable. With the Dragon XLR model the operator does not need to climb of the forklift truck because it can read codes at a distance of up to 10 metres. In this way, Datalogic has provided improved connectivity and versatility for its products.
