CCD or Laser?
This question can only be answered by defining the application!
In the past the laser scanner was often chosen for technological reasons, as it was believed to be the better performing solution.
Nowadays as CCD-technology has developed further, it is no longer true. A laser does not provide superior performance compared to the CCD-scanner. Today when there is choice to make the application must be analyzed and then the decision for CCD or Laser can be made!
