PROBRAND SIGNS ANOTHER BIG THREE

Following a run of successes, Birmingham based technology services provider, Probrand, has signed three sector leading company's to it's online IT purchasing hub, The IT Index.

British Bakeries, Universal Salvage and City Space are all market leaders in their own sectors and have all adopted The IT Index to add value to the bottom line through time and money savings associated with sourcing and purchasing IT goods.

The IT Index saves an average of one day a week in procurement time by eliminating the need for supplier phone calls for best price and product availability. The solution daily updates a list of over 50,000 IT products from 500 vendors in a secure on-line environment.

This latest news falls on the back of a milestone 1M turnover month for The IT Index and continues to put Probrand on target to hit its year end  forecasts.

Managing Director of Probrand, Peter Robbins, said: "Our innovative online business model, The IT Index, continues to deliver the results for us and our customers.

"At a time when margins are becoming ever tighter, organisations are looking to stretch their existing budgets to get more for their investment  and IT purchasing is just one marketvertical where we continue to help our customers meet and exceed this goal.

"But The IT Index is not just about getting IT buyers to the best priced products faster, its secure nature means managers can monitor and tightly control organisation-wide purchasing behaviour. That means no more erroneous or double purchases and as a secure on-line proposition it supports mobile workers looking for access anywhere, anytime."

The IT Index is the first e-procurement solution to be accredited by The Institute of Chartered Accountants for England & Wales.
