Belkins APP creates a Win, Win situation for all

Belkin, the worlds leading manufacturer of peripherals and connectivity solutions for computer and consumer electronics users, has today announced the launch of the Belkin Alliance Partner Program (APP). The programme was designed to equip resellers, retailers and value added resellers with the tools they need to offer business and consumers the best connectivity solutions, grow their business and profit margins.

The Belkin APP is a unique loyalty program, which has been created to offer Belkins network of partners a way of expanding their knowledge and extending their revenues all the while driving business through Belkin approved distribution partners. The scheme is based around Belkins unique in-house designed and run back-end engine. Resellers are targeted to grow their Belkin business whilst being given marketing and training support to reach agreed targets and then rewarded on achieving these goals.

The programme includes access to exclusive benefits including deal of the week offers, incentives, marketing and sales tools, training and free priority technical support service. Resellers accumulate points, which translate into a Marketing Development Fund (MDF) based on their Belkin product purchases through participating distributors. The accumulated MDF points can be redeemed for a variety of products and merchandise or POS material, or a specific tailored program of staff training, and target driven incentives packages.

Robin Falconer, Sales and Marketing Director - UK, Belkin, said: Many reseller programs are nothing more than badge and sticker clubs. In general these programmes are very generic and are invariably aimed at large resellers. The result is that smaller resellers are often overlooked as they dont have the large marketing spends of the large corporate resellers. The APP was designed specifically to meet the needs of smaller resellers, helping them to gain a foot-hold in the high-margin and high-growth peripherals.
