Mobile computing expert CMC has launched two new rugged PCs from Swedish manufacturer JLT into the UK and Ireland. The JLT15021 and JLT12041 have been tested to destruction to prove their tremendous resistance to extreme temperature, moisture and shock conditions, can both be mounted in-vehicle for use over the roughest terrains, and complement the current JLT1002 and JLT1204 fixed PCs in the JLT range, offering greater processing power.
Each model has the optimum screen to case size for compactness and is available in 12 and 15 screen sizes. The high-grade engineering of the JLT15021 and JLT12041 includes a solid aluminium casing with no moving parts for ultimate reliability and inbuilt thermodynamic design to manage heat dissipation. An extra module that seals connectors takes both models from IP65 to IP67 rating (able to withstand being left underwater for up to one hour) is available.
The JLT15021 and JLT12041 can be customised to your environment with a full range of accessories including a range of mounting systems and keyboards and, in common with all JLT computers, are highly configurable to optimise the specification for user requirements.
Said Managing Director of CMC, Mark Dale-Lace: The Mr Muscle of computers, these JLT fixed PCs are arguably the best engineered and designed products on the market. Properly installed and sensibly used, they are all but indestructible yet, when all criteria are analysed, are highly affordable.
