Extech Data Systems announces that their new families of 2, 3 and 4 portable, battery operated thermal printer comply with internationally accepted Product Safety standards. This compliance is additional to those required by the FCC and EEC for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and for Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing (commonly referred to as EMC immunity testing).
In summary our printers
Conform to ANSI/UL STD 60950,
Are certified to CAN/CSA STD C22.2 No. 60950-00,
Comply with IEC 60950:1999 Are GS and S mark certified
Are ETL listed (a designation similar to UL listing) and
Are CB Certified.
