Specially designed for high-volume code recognition  applications, d:cod is a low cost, multi code reader  that offers fast speed and unpreecedent ease of use. Setup is particularly effortless with Axodes new Plug&Read  technology, an innovative solution that simplifies the  operators job significantly. All the operator has to do is one button to begin automatic setup. d :cod is the only system on the market that adapts to any standard coding automatically (OCR, BCR, 2D, Postal, OMR), both high and low density, with fields of view from 1 to 4. d:cod is much more than a simple low cost reader. It is endowed with industrial outputs for gates management, alarm, machine stop. Its functions and communication protocols can be customised thanks to BASIC programming language. Reading results are transmitted via RS232 serial link or via Ethernet. Finally, d:cod has an integrated web server for internet browser-based configuration, and an infrared transmitter for PDA connection (reading results, setting up system, viewing camera images).
