Inventris Ltd has installed its new advanced stock taking technology at a Berkshire based art gallery.
Inventris Batch is an advanced data capture unit designed to meet the inventory and asset demands of all industries.
Tivoli Art is using the bar coding system on its artworks in order to simplify its existing stock control and order process.
The installation of Inventris Batch has improved the companies stock check system extensively, enabling the Gallery to both take orders and process orders more quickly and with greater efficiently.
Using the hand held stock management system Tivoli can check stock levels and up date databases. This enables the company to keep a record of all artwork coming in and out of the gallery.
The hand held scanner has the capability of transferring from order taking mode to stock management mode at the switch of a button, making Emma Leschonkos of Tivoli Art's life that extra bit easier.
Emma used the order taking systems whilst participating in the Spring Fair this year.
She claimed that:
Not only did the system help make the order process easier it increased sales by 35% compared to last year as its technology allows the customer sign for their order on the spot.
