The new INDUSTRIALNET solution from PANDUIT, offers robust IP-rated products for factory floor networks

PANDUIT, a global leader in cabling and communication solutions announces the launch of INDUSTRIALNET, a new end-to-end, IP rated Industrial Networking solution. The product range comprises bulkhead Cat 5e jacks and plugs, Industrial Ethernet enclosures, fibre connectors and patch cords.

Industrial Ethernet enables the extension of standard Ethernet protocol to the factory floor for automation control, manufacturing data collection, and facility automation systems. Benefits for companies include reduced network operation costs, lesser complexities between varying systems and protocols and greater network visibility and control in real time and from remote locations.

The INDUSTRIALNET product range is designed specifically to withstand the harsh environments of the factory floor, where connectivity and control devices can be affected by dust ingress, chemical exposure, wash-down moisture, high temperatures, vibration and other environmental conditions. INDUSTRIALNET offers a degree of protection against contamination that standard networking products are unable to provide, ensuring network performance, reliability and efficiency are maintained.

Business Development Manager, Stphane Egros, commented on the launch: "PANDUIT has been designing automated solutions for the manufacturing industry and network cabling infrastructure for enterprises for 50 years. The launch of INDUSTRIALNET unifies our skills and expertise in theses areas. INDUSTRIALNET not only delivers outstanding performance, but is a true end-to-end system, offering interoperability with our PACT partners Cisco Systems, APC and Rockwell, as well as the reassurance of a system warranty when installed by a PANDUIT certified installer."

The solution will benefit companies employing advanced factory automation systems, factories integrating ERP and remote manufacturing, factories migrating to Industrial Ethernet, OEMs and harsh environment enterprise networks.
