Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: JNPR) has announced the Juniper Networks Services Affiliation Program a new and enhanced benefit to the Juniper J-Partner program. This new channel offering recognises and rewards Juniper Networks channel partners, called J-Partners, who deliver business critical services and solutions to their customers and reinforce Juniper Networks focus on a value-based program.
Juniper Networks Service Affiliation Program is designed to deliver value to channel partners in four fundamental ways by:
- driving incremental professional services revenue
- providing access to practice-enhancing tools
- increasing potential partner-to-partner collaboration
- offering differentiation to J-Partners carrying the Service Affiliation badge.
By leveraging and promoting channel partners deep expertise and services practices in networking and security technologies, Juniper Networks increases its capacity for professional services and affirms the companys channel-friendly customer services model.
Juniper Networks Service Affiliation Program allows Juniper and its J-Partners to deliver the high value-add services that enterprises of all sizes require, said Gert-Jan Schenk, Juniper Networks vice president of channels in EMEA. While providing unique incentive opportunities, the program also ensures that partners have access to appropriate resources, training and tools to help them address customers toughest networking and security challenges.
The Service Affiliation program rewards and promotes channel partners who deliver any combination of security and networking professional services around these six core technologies or practices including:
- Secure Socket Layer Virtual Private Networks (SSL VPN) design and implementation
- Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP) design and implementation
- Firewall/VPN migration
- Security audits
- Network design and implementation
- Router migration
To obtain the Service Affiliation program designation, the J-Partner must meet a stringent list of prerequisites including; proof of an established service practice, dedicated professional services engineers with technical proficiency and technical certifications as well as support programs and tools. On an annual basis, Juniper Networks will verify and certify existing services practices with these top tier partners. This new program will reside in the J-Partner Services program and is an addition to the Authorized Support Center and the Authorized Education Center programs currently offered to J-Partners.
