At Retail Solutions (June 7-9, 2005) in Birmingham, Great Britain, Denso ID Systems Department presents its comprehensive product range for mobile data entry solutions (hall 17, stand J42). According to the motto "Move on ... to a wireless world of information" the company belonging to the Toyota Group presents, among other products and solutions, the new mobile barcode handheld terminal BHT-400. This highlight of the fair features a storage capacity of up to 128 MB RAM. In addition to a radio-frequency interface, stocktaking in trade can be processed seamlessly and fast via Bluetooth. The GT-10/GT-11-series can be used for extensive scanning tasks. The devices presented in dark and light grey casing design feature USB- and RS323-interfaces. This allows retailers to connect the scanners wirelessly with their software. Next to these new products Denso's partners BancTec Ltd. and Worldwide Solutions Ltd. showcase their software solutions.

Great sales volume with great team
At the largest special fair worldwide for investment in trade Denso looks back on a successful year 2004. Denso Corporation achieved a total sales volume of 27.4 billion US Dollar in 2004 (2003: 25.6 billion US Dollar). Denso ID Systems Department was able to achieve an increase in its sales volume by 33 per cent. The department in Neuss distributes the industrial and handheld scanning devices as well as the company's mobile terminals in Europe. In order to keep up this successful trend, Denso ID Systems Department has given a new structure to its EMEA-sector. Since October, Kai Beiwenger is the new Head of Channel Sales EMEA. Luc Stals is in charge of distribution in EMEA as Head of Sales EMEA since November 2004. From the beginning of last year on Department Manager Armin Offermann heads the department in Neuss. Also since the beginning of last year Christian Bischoff is in charge of the position of Product Marketing Manager EMEA. In addition to this the company was able to win two more distributors: P.C Cubed Ltd. in Ireland and the German Intertrade AG.

Good evaluation from satisfied customers
In daily use the products of Denso have proven their reliability in practice. For example, the Italian motorbike manufacturer Malaguti identifies points along the delivery path of the ordered machines with the BHT-280BW-CE. With the help of this wireless LAN-enabled device of the company belonging to the Toyota group the Italian manufacturer scans the product information, which is enclosed in the barcodes, and sends the data wirelessly and quickly to the server. The employees can view these product data online any time. Thus, the transport of the goods can be traced and it is possible to confirm which model has been dispatched to a particular customer. Another successful example for wireless tracking of goods is the Italian specialist for logistics, M.T.N.. In order to convince themselves of the punctual and seamless delivery of the goods, customers of M.T.N. can check the status of the consignment online any time via the company's website with the help of several search functions. To provide the necessary data for this, the respective entries and exits of the goods are immediately and continually registered during the delivery process. For this purpose the company employs the handheld terminal BHT-303BW.
