Mobilise sales intelligence with VECTA Pocket 1.6.7

Vecta Software Corporation Ltd has announced the release of version 1.6.7 of VECTA Pocket, the mobile sales intelligence product designed to compliment the companys market leading sales intelligence solution, VECTA.

VECTA provides total visibility over all sales activity and issues, monitoring and analysing customer buying patterns to identify sales opportunities and highlight appropriate customers to target with up-sell, cross-sell and switch-sell incentives. VECTA Pocket retrieves the most recent sales intelligence from a central hub and stores it locally on a handheld PDA for offline use by an outbound sales representative in situations where it is impractical or inappropriate to use a laptop.

A new feature in version 1.6.7 enables sales variance information to be displayed for the current month compared to the last month and the current quarter compared to the previous quarter as well as the standard this year compared to last year. It is also now possible to display the total number of tasks performed against each individual customer in a Sales Variance enquiry.

Also new is a Weekly Task View calendar, which enables users to see at-a-glance all the tasks that they have lined up for any given week and plan their time accordingly. A Quick Task facility has been implemented that enables a task to be quickly generated for a selected customer or contact. Sales terminology (Value, Cost, Profit, GP etc) is now exported from the hub to VECTA Pocket to ensure consistency of descriptions.

In VECTA Pocket 1.6.7, MyResults automatically generates alerts to identify more easily the customers that have affected the MyResults statistics. It is now possible to tap selected MyResults descriptions and go directly to the details of the alert associated with the result.
All of the enhancements to VECTA Pocket have been developed based on feedback from customers in line with our objective of delivering powerful sales intelligence solutions through easy-to-use and intuitive applications, says Brian Spencer, Research and Development Director at Vecta.
