Sophos, a world leader in protecting businesses against spam and viruses, has announced the winners of its Partner Awards 2005, designed to showcase its top performing UK channel business partners. Foursys, a specialist in Sophos Anti-Virus software, picked up two awards including the prestigious 'UK partner of the year', which it has won for the fourth consecutive year.
The 'UK partner of the year' award recognises resellers that have demonstrated outstanding commitment and success, as well as a dedication to building advantageous and profitable relationships, both with customers and the Sophos sales team. The 2005 nominees were Foursys, Systems Software Solutions, and Softcat, which won the award for 'high volume partner of the year'.
"We're delighted that Sophos has once again rewarded our hard work in the channel," said Jez Turner, sales manager at Foursys. "Our commitment to customer service has been the driving force behind the company, and winning this award for the fourth year running shows that the effort we put into maintaining strong customer relationships has not gone unnoticed."
The awards took place on 18 May at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin, as part of the Sophos UK Partner Conference 2005. This annual event offers Sophos business partners an insight into future plans and developments, as well as providing a platform on which to discuss ideas for furthering Sophos's business.
