Rose brings additional flexibility to PCs by adding a second concurrent KVM (Keyboard, Video monitor and Mouse)

Rose Electronics, the pioneer of KVM (Keyboard-Video-Mouse) switching technology, introduces MultiStation PC a product allowing a PC to be shared between two people in real time.

MultiStation PC is a mixed hardware (PCI card) and software solution which simply double the usability of a standard Windows PC. Users are completely autonomous and mutually non-intrusive the effect for each User is that he has his own PC!

All usual PC functions, including Web browsing and printing are available to both Users at once. The second User station is connected by a standard STP (shielded cat5) cable, and does not have to be in the same room as the host PC.

Obvious applications are in the home, where people often queue to use the computer, in schools or in small offices, and in situations such as medical surgeries where access to information is required from more than one location. MultiStation PC is also a good solution for industrial type applications where the PC needs to be located in a safe environment, but where a second ruggedised KVM is needed on the factory floor.

MultiStation PC is especially useful when numbers of Users fluctuate seasonally or according to workload PC access can be enabled cheaply and easily whilst investment in computers is kept to a minimum.
