Immediacy to strengthen channel relationships with appointment of business development manager Goode

Immediacy, the leading UK web content management software (CMS) provider, has appointed Mr John Goode as business development manager with specific focus on developing Immediacys channel partnerships. Immediacy has more than doubled its turnover and headcount over the last 18 months through development of partnerships and product enhancements.

Goode brings over 20 years experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining Immediacy, Goode was head of the browser based products group at Hutchinson 3G UK where he had a key role in the launch of the UKs first 3G mobile operator Three. Goode previously co-owned and directed a web services company called 24-Seven New Media.

Goode is now responsible for managing Immediacys partner-base. As its preferred route-to-market, Immediacy currently has over 30 partners. Goode will be refining and extending Immediacys partner-base in the UK and across Continental Europe. By working closely with the partners Goode will actively support this network through the allocation of qualified leads and assistance with face-to-face presentations and demonstrations of the Immediacy CMS.

Nigel Jackson, CEO and founder of Immediacy commented:

Johns experience is a great asset to the Immediacy team. By maintaining close working relationships with our partners he will ensure that Immediacy continues to deliver highly functional solutions in the hotly contested best value CMS market.

Goode summed up:

I am excited at the prospect of opening up the market for Immediacys CMS. One of the compelling features of our software is its plug-in architecture which enables third parties to build bespoke user and server controls for content management. This approach ensures that we are well placed to assist our partners with increased opportunities whilst remaining in tune with end-user requirements.
