Metrologic Instruments (Stand C4) will be demonstrating its suite of laser and vision based bar code scanners. Return on investment is a key requirement in today's competitive retail environment and Metrologic provides complete scanning solutions with products ranging from the 6-sided bi-optic Stratos supermarket scanner through to the best-selling Voyager series single line hand held scanner.

Amongst the products on display will be the MS3580 QuantumT - a compact, omnidirectional laser bar code scanner, fully enclosed with a protective exterior boot. An interesting feature is its ability to be switched from Omni to optional single line scanning mode and therefore ideal when scanning from a menu of bar codes where an omnidirectional scan pattern could easily read the wrong code or try to read two at once!
