TimeSpring Software Corporation and NavigateStorage announced an agreement under which NavigateStorage will offer TimeSprings TimeData continuous data protection (CDP) software to its customer base. Founded in 1999, NavigateStorage provides data protection and compliance solutions to a wide variety of industries including finance, insurance, legal, education, telecom, and manufacturing up and down the US East Coast.
"We've seen a lot of interest in continuous data protection from our customers so we set out to find the right solution," said Jim Addlesberger, President & CEO of NavigateStorage. "We chose TimeSpring's TimeData software for Windows as a best of breed solution. We are particularly impressed with its ability to impact recovery time objectives (RTO), backup and reporting in ways not found in other products. We see CDP as the wave of the future because it addresses many of the problems associated with traditional solutions: problems such as cost, complexity, interruptions and inadequate protection. Some of todays popular replication solutions dont enable you to roll back to before the mishap, while others restrict you to only one shot at rolling back to the right place. TimeData, on the other hand, solves all those problems and gives users the flexibility they need.
TimeSpring's TimeData software represents a major improvement over data replication, snapshot and traditional backup systems for critical Windows applications. The software is easy to use, non-disruptive and affordable. It operates continuously, without operator intervention or scheduling. Transactions are protected and the integrity of the audit trail is maintained. The software also makes current and historical data available for offline processing.
"NavigateStorages experience in integrating high-quality, differentiated storage solutions for its enterprise customers makes them an ideal partner for TimeSpring," said Janae Lee, CEO of TimeSpring. "With their knowledge and data protection expertise, NavigateStorage will be able to help customers seamlessly integrate TimeSpring into their data protection processes, so customers will be able to take immediate advantage of a true continuous data protection solution."
