Centennial Software targets Central & Eastern Europe with German Office

As part of its drive into central and eastern Europe, network discovery and management vendor Centennial Software today opened the doors on its German office, based in Altenstadt, near Frankfurt. The German operation will be headed by Norbert Heidke, who joins Centennial as Country Manager.

Norbert brings with him over 20 years of IT sales and channel management experience, having previously held positions with IXEurope and QuantumTL. He has particular experience dealing with international partners such as Cap Gemini, HP and Siemens.

I am pleased to welcome Norbert at this exciting time for Centennial, said Marc Adams, SVP Field Operations at Centennial Software. Central and eastern Europe represent a fantastic opportunity for our solutions, which we could not fully exploit from the UK alone. Through our increased presence in Germany, I am confident that more and more organizations will come to realize the benefits of using Centennial Discovery to automatically find, track and manage their hardware and software assets.

By creating total network visibility, Centennial Discovery helps organizations reduce unnecessary spend, ensure compliance with licensing laws and improve IT effectiveness through integrations with complementary technologies such as help desk, software deployment and asset management solutions.

The timing is perfect for Centennial Software to establish an office in Germany, said Norbert Heidke. My priority now is to build our central and eastern European markets by providing resellers with the highest levels of sales and marketing support, as well as expanding our partner program into new sectors and territories.
