Seagull Scientifics BarTender Now Supports Intermecs RFID-capable Printers

Timed to coincide with Intermec Technology Corporations release of updated encoding capabilities for its RFID Intellitag printers, Seagull Scientific has released version 6.9 of its Windows printer drivers. Among the newly added driver features and capabilities, the drivers add support for the international ISO 18000-6b RFID tag standard for all Seagull-supported printers that use this tag type, including the Intermec Intellitag PF2i, PF4i, PM4i, PX4i and PX6i models. Version 6.9 drivers are already shipping on CDs for Seagulls BarTender software and are available for free download from Seagull's web page.

Seagull Scientific is a highly valued Intermec Premier printer software partner, said Intermec Director Doug Hall. This new BarTender RFID version is a tangible result of our teamwork. We look forward to helping many joint customers solve their RFID Compliance Labeling application challenges.

We are pleased to have been able to update our label software so quickly in support of Intermecs latest technology RFID printers, said Seagull Scientific President Don Ray. This allows thousands of Intermec users and resellers to continue to rely on our BarTender label software as they begin to ramp up their implementation of RFID solutions.
