Lexmark International today unveiled three new, powerful multifunction products that give businesses the ability to move documents seamlessly from paper to digital formats. Lexmarks unique solutions allow organisations to re-engineer hardcopy workflow with platforms that enable print, copy, fax and scan to network with greater ease and efficiency.

The Lexmark X632s, X634e and X634dte advance the companys line of robust workgroup MFPs, while offering greater security in todays digital office environment. The new MFPs combine improved network printer technology from the award-winning family of Lexmark workgroup laser printers with a number of enhancements, including colour scanning, increased speed and the easy-to-use, customisable e-Task interface -- all at very competitive prices.

These two intelligent devices are ideal tools to help accelerate any paper-based business process. Coupled with the Lexmark Document Solutions Suite, customisable icons can be linked with workflow processes such as financial loan applications and medical record processing to deliver significant cost reductions and productivity improvements. The Lexmark X634e has an estimated street price of 1,779 and the Lexmark X634dte is expected to sell for 2,219.

Easy to Use
Both the Lexmark X634e and the X634dte offer up to 45 page per minute performance and the functionality of larger departmental devices at a fraction of the cost. Their power starts with the customisable e-Task interface, an intuitive, easy-to-use colour touch-screen display. The e-Task interface integrates seamlessly with corporate directories so documents are easily scanned and e-mailed, critical for first-time users.

The secure authentication and encryption features offered in the Lexmark X634e and the Lexmark 634dte provide customers with more secure document scan and print features. Customers can easily leverage their existing corporate directories like Microsoft Active Directory to perform secure user authentication.
