SWT Signs Reseller Partnership with Documation

SWT, a leading European forms processing and document capture technology developer, today announced it has signed a Reseller agreement with Documation, a leading provider of document management solutions. Through the agreement, Documation will strengthen its range of EDM solutions for Invoice management by integrating the SWT b-Wize INVOICE solution offering advanced document classification and data extraction technology for invoices and many other unstructured documents.

SWTs b-Wize classification and data extraction technology for both structured and unstructured documents will allow Documation customers to fully automate the processing of invoices, said John Wallace, CEO, Documation. Over the past year we have been reviewing many document capture and OCR technologies and decided that b-Wize would be an excellent addition to our portfolio. The technology is not only fast and accurate, but it is also affordable, allowing many more of our customers to take advantage of the productivity gains this technology brings, added John Wallace.

b-Wize INVOICE uses a combination of unique document recognition technology with template and freeform based data extraction techniques to automatically identify, classify and extract data from many thousands of different types of documents. This capability makes it a perfect fit for Documations invoice management solution (IMS) and enables the complete automation and management of invoices from thousands of suppliers.

"Our partnership with Documation will allow end users to benefit from both Documations renowned IMS solution and b-Wize INVOICEs exceptional data extraction accuracy and speed. The combined solution will help companies improve business process efficiency, reduce operating costs and increase productivity, explains Andy Dawson, General Manager of SWT UK.

Documations IMS is a powerful document management and workflow solution that is specially designed for accounts payable departments. The solution routes invoices for coding and authorisation, includes multiple features designed to aid query handling and sends automatic updates for rapid invoice process completion. It also allows users to search and retrieve invoice images through a browser interface or directly from within the financial application. IMS is built on the Documation Enable platform, which can be used in a multitude of areas from simple archiving applications through to powerful workflow web enabled applications.
