TOSHIBA TEC Europe is proud to announce an addition to its 4 Desktop printer range with the launch of the B-SV4T. With a printing speed of up to 5 per second this thermal transfer printer is one of the most cost-effective and high performance on the market. A super-fast processor and large standard memory enable functionality only possible on more expensive industrial labelling machines. Packed with features designed to benefit the user, its high speed printing, fast processing and incredible reliability increase efficiency and productivity.
Fitted with an auto switching 100-240V external AC adapter, the B-SV4T also comes with a wide variety of interfaces as standard, these are a serial, a parallel and a USB 1.1 port. An optional external and internal LAN adapter is available for easy networking. Using the Windows drivers or the inbuilt programming language (TPCL2 Lite) the B-SV4T can complement TOSHIBA TECs industrial printer range without the need for major software changes.
All frequently used barcode formats are available on the B-SV4T with the ability to print fonts and barcodes in any rotation, with a choice of 6 different type faces of alphanumeric font and outline font printing.
The printhead and platen can be quickly replaced without the need for tools which adds up to trouble-free maintenance, whilst a robust double-walled cover protects against dust and damage. Access to the printhead, media, platen roller and sensors is facilitated by an innovative clamshell design, ensuring easy media loading and cleaning. Additionally a fully adjustable label sensor supports most media types, including ribbon up to 300m.
All of this adds up to a desktop printer that is incredibly easy to use and maintain, reducing training time and printer downtime, whilst at the same time retaining the robustness and reliability that is synonymous with TOSHIBA TEC Europe.
