Ergotron has developed a new computer cart specifically for electronic registration of patient data. Computer carts mean an efficiency improvement for hospitals, since patient data can be comfortably processed anywhere at the point of care. Nursing staff and IT managers of various hospitals were involved in the development of the StyleView cart. Their wishes in the field of easy of use and computer mounting were incorporated in the design. Ergonomists were also consulted. The result is a functional and ergonomic computer cart.
It is up to the user to decide which hardware they will install on the StyleView cart. They can choose between a laptop and a flat panel with PC version, which they equip with their hardware of choice. The compact SyleView can be used for sitting and standing computer work. The vertical adjustment range of the screen installed is 51 cm, ensuring a correct viewing height for the vast majority of users. Thanks to the Constant Force Technology that was developed by Ergotron and incorporated in the cart, it can be effortlessly height adjusted by every user and locked in any desired height position.
A lot of attention has been given to details. Cables are neatly organized and all hardware installed can be protected by means of security locks. Upon request from nurses, a generous worksurface has been added. Besides, Ergotron selected extremely high quality casters, which allows for easy travel under all circumstances. The StyleView cart is EN-60601-1 certified.
