Raflatac has launched a new thermal labelstock that combines the benefits of direct thermal and thermal transfer in a single product.
Thermal Durable is a unique thermal imaging paper for use with direct thermal printers, including low energy models. It behaves like a thermal transfer product but, with no ribbon or ink cartridge, has the additional advantage of one less consumable.
The thermal image is highly stable as the paper remains unaffected under exposure to UV light, water, oil and plasticizers. High temperature resistance also makes Thermal Durable suitable for use in heat shrink tunnels and provides the necessary reliability for high-speed ladder bar code printing, which is particularly crucial in logistic labelling applications.
