Acal Networks appointed to distribute Wireless Security Solutions from Fortress Technologies

Acal Electronics' Networks Division has been appointed as distributor for the industry-leading family of security gateway solutions for ensuring privacy of wireless networks and mission-critical enterprise applications from Fortress Technologies Inc. across the EMEA region.

Fortress Technologies' AirFortress product family offers flexible, market-proven security to address the risks and vulnerabilities of wireless networks, and provides the highest level of commercially available wireless security. It is an easy-to-use security solution that supports and integrates with wired networks to ensure the business integrity demanded by the global 1000, government, financial and health care organizations. Fortress is one of the only companies to offer the end-to-end security consistent with the US Department of Defense's new directive for wireless devices and use.

The AirFortress family supports multiple wireless networking standards, including 802.11a/b/g/n, 802.16 (WiMax) and others.
