3COM ANNOUNCES NEW SERVICE PROGRAMS TO REWARD CHANNEL PARTNERS AND ENHANCE END-USER CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

3Com Corporation (Nasdaq: COMS) today announced that its 3Com Global Services organization has introduced two new worldwide service authorization programs, designed to reward and recognize 3Com's Focus channel partners for commitment to service excellence. The Authorized 3Com(r) Service Delivery Program benefits 3Com channel partners who provide their own services to support 3Com network products. This program is open to all 3Com Gold and Silver level Focus partners, as well as to 3Com Bronze level partners with NBX Voice Authorization. The Authorized 3Com Service Reseller Program benefits 3Com channel partners who resell 3Com service offerings. This program is open to all Gold, Silver and Bronze partners registered in 3Com's Focus Program, a well-established channel partner program to help channel partners deliver superior solutions to customers.
