Today marks the release of the breakthrough WAFFLETECHNOLOGY by KIC Products and its Partners. WAFFLETECHNOLOGY, through the incorporation of flexible, raised cleaning platforms on both surfaces of the cleaning cards, cleans critical components better than any other product on the market.
The waffled design provides access to both the leading and trailing edges of rounded magnetic heads. The independent suspension design also facilitates pressurized access to the recessed sensors of bill acceptors. Additional features incorporated into many Waffletechnology cleaning cards are the embossed traction pads located at both ends of the cards. The pads serve the dual purpose of increasing traction as cards are being processed through the equipment and providing an additional cleaning mechanism for the rollers and belts.
The first products to incorporate the design will be magnetic card reader cleaning cards (CR80s), bill validator cleaning cards, and check reader cleaning cards. Soon, thermal printer cleaning cards will be available as well as international currency bill validator cleaning cards.
