A COMMON GOAL FOR HHP AND ZEBRA: MOBILISING THE WORKFORCE

HHP, the worlds leading provider of image-based data collection systems, has developed a close working relationship with Zebra Technologies Europe Limited, one of the leading global suppliers of thermal bar code label and receipt printers. The two companies have developed complementary products that together provide a complete wireless data capture solution for warehouse workers.

One of HHPs latest products is the Dolphin 9500, a highly sophisticated, feature-rich mobile computer that can be used to read virtually all types of bar codes, as well as offering Optical Character Recognition and signature and image capture. This is complemented by Zebras QL 420 direct thermal mobile printer, which provides rapid and accurate bar code label and receipt printing.

When used together, these two products offer a highly effective solution that will streamline warehouse operations. This solution has been shown to boost productivity significantly by increasing the efficiency and accuracy of different procedures; virtually eliminating errors; and reducing the time spent on routine tasks.

The two companies are also encouraging resellers to consider selling the two products together. This approach is likely to open up a host of new sales opportunities for the resellers.

Both models incorporate some of the latest technological advances, and both have been designed to be light and compact but extremely rugged. The companies calculate that the combined solution can offer a complete return on investment within the first seven months.

Roel Vreeburg, HHPs Managing Director for EMEA, remarks: We are delighted to be developing such a close working relationship with Zebra. Because we have both developed products that are known for their high levels of performance and reliability, it makes sense to use them together to provide a complete, compatible wireless system that makes a real and powerful difference to the efficiency of warehouse operations.
