SATO Holds First Ever RFID Symposium in the Middle East

SATO, the world's leading manufacturer of label and barcode printers, and specialist in Data Collection Systems (DCS), organised together with its Business Partner Gulf Adhesive Labels Factory L.L.C (G.A.L.F.), the first RFID event of its kind in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on 6th of July.

This event enabled customers and partners throughout the supply chain to learn about the latest developments in RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification). Presentations included RFID systems in both theory and practice, to show the capabilities of the various RFID technologies to the audience. The Symposium demonstrated SATO's leadership in the vital RFID arena, drawing on the company's 25 years of experience as a pioneer in automatic identification and data capture.

 

Participants from over 25 world leading companies, such as Emirates Sky Cargo, Emirates Post, DHL, Modern Freight etc. which are based in Dubai, attended the meetings to learn more about the great potential of RFID. This symposium confirmed the strong interest that exists in the Middle East for this technology.
