Avery Dennison Printer Systems Europe strengthens market position with partnership with Astromed Inc

Avery Dennison Printer Systems Division has agreed with Astromed Inc, Rhode Island USA, exclusive rights to sell Astromed printers, accessories and consumables in Europe. Avery Dennison Printer Systems Europe is the perfect partner for Astromed to effectively distribute their products. As a world leader in thermal transfer technology and core competencies in printer manufacture for labels, tags and ribbon, the company has the structure to reach target markets in the fabric and textile sectors.

Avery Dennison Printer Systems has had a fruitful relationship with Astromed to date. Their QuickLabel Apparel Systems range for textile applications is sold under the Avery Dennison brand with an Avery badge.

Avery Dennison has a proven track record in the supply of total systems solutions for the textile industry and with this latest AP CL range of duplex and multi-color printing systems will continue to grow their reputation as industry leaders. The AP CL range of printers can reduce real costs of production by increasing productivity. Labels can be produced easily on demand avoiding storage of large numbers of pre-printed labels.

With multiple print stations, the AP CL system can print on both sides of the label simultaneously in different colours, barcodes or care instructions, logos, graphics or text. The AP CL 2/1 model has three print stations that can print 2 colors one side and one color on the other. The AP CL 1/1 matches requirements for color printing one on each side. Both, the AP CL 1/1 and 2/1, produce razor-sharp print at the high resolution of 300dpi.

These systems are available in different widths from 36mm to 110mm to suit the design of different textile labels such as those for cleaning instructions or labels for branding and size marketing.

With software and post print options, such as a Cutter Stacker and Ultra Sonic Cutter Stacker, the AP CL label system represents a complete on-demand label and tag production line for the textile industry.
