IBR the UK's leading provider of meeting and event solutions has renewed its contract with the UKs leading Audio Visual rental supplier Steljes Hire to achieve an easy life for clients and avail them with considerable cost savings.
Since 1988, IBR has established itself by offering a free venue-finding service. It was through their relationship with a major American Systems Integrator that they were first introduced to Steljes Hire, who is the market leader in AV corporate rental.
The two organisations first partnered in 2003 because their company profiles and impressive set ups were so well matched. With 90% of IBRs clients needing presentation equipment for their conferences, audiovisual hire was a key area in need of support, explains Andy Horn UK Sales Manager at Steljes Hire. To date the agreement has offered IBRs clients substantial time and cost savings, and has helped them to achieve a consistent level of service in relation to the service level agreements in place.
Alan Newton, Operations Manager at IBR explains; "We have extended our partnership agreement with preferred electronic equipment distributor Steljes, following their pro-active and efficient approach to the delivery of AV solutions, to our clients, over the past 12 months. The competitive and cost effective service has proved to be very popular amongst a number of IBR clients and is an integral piece of the jigsaw in providing clients with procurement solutions to their meetings and events business. I have no doubt that the relationships - supplier-agent-client - will move from strength to strength over the coming years."
As part of the contract IBR and Steljes Hire have also negotiated an damage and loss waiver on all hired products and venues, this is another area that has to be sorted out by our clients, and again being able to offer this service will make many organisations lives a great deal easier, explains Alan.
