HHP, the worlds leading provider of image-based data collection systems, has appointed Spirit Data Capture Ltd as one of its prestigious Power Partners.  Spirit is a new, independent IT solutions house which specialises in providing integrated solutions for barcoding, mobile computing and other voice and date technologies.

Cheshire-based Spirit will offer a wide range of HHP solutions, including barcode scanners, image capture devices, and mobile computing solutions.  These include the world-renowned Dolphin range of mobile computers, and the IMAGETEAM family of linear and area imagers.  Many of these incorporate Adaptus, HHPs fourth generation Imaging Technology.

HHPs products will also be supported by Spirits sister company, Intelligent Support, which focuses on providing customer care services, including maintenance contracts and repairs for mobile computers and other data capture devices.

Spirits senior executives have extensive experience within the Auto ID industry, and are well acquainted with the high levels of performance offered by HHPs products.  Managing Director, Ebbie Khadem, was previously HHPs European Sales and Marketing Director.

Ebbie says: We are delighted to have been appointed as a Power Partner of a company that has such an enviable reputation as HHP.  It is a recognised world leader in the development and supply of state-of-the-art hand held mobile computing and data capture solutions.  Its wealth of products enables us to offer a comprehensive choice of barcode scanners and imaging solutions.

Roel Vreeburg, HHPs Managing Director for EMEA, responds: We are looking forward to working with such a dynamic company as Spirit.  Although the company has only recently been formed, its personnel have a tremendous wealth of experience within our industry, and we look forward to developing a close working relationship with them.
