CipherTrust, Inc., the market leader in comprehensive messaging security, has launched IronMail S-Series in Europe to enable the channel to take enterprise class e-mail security to the Small and Medium sized business (SMB) community.
In the UK, there are over 3.8 million SMBs, responsible for 52% of the UK's turnover in 2003. However, due to tight budgets and lack of email security experience, SMBs are a prime target for attacks, particularly spam and viruses. IronMail S-Series provides e-mail specific VPN, IDS, firewall as well as anti-spam and anti-virus tools, meeting the e-mail security requirements of the SMB market.
Recent research from the Radicati Group stated that viruses will cost European businesses 9,000 million during 2004 with spam making up 46% of all European email traffic. Colin Gray, VP EMEA CipherTrust commented: "No company can afford to leave their front door open. The S-Series is based on CipherTrust's award winning IronMail email security appliance that combines the five critical components of spam and fraud prevention, virus and worm protection, policy and content compliance, email privacy and secure email gateway capabilities into a single platform. The S-Series is configured for easy installation and ease-of-use, providing the ability to filter, manage and monitor both inbound and outbound mail traffic.
The IronMail S-Series is now available through CipherTrust's nine European Premier Partners who have recently completed a four day accredited training course. CipherTrust is keen to recruit partners with pre and first line support for post sales and those that have a proactive sales strategy.
