INVU, a developer and marketer of software that manages paper, e-mails, web pages, faxes and electronic files, has announced its participation in the eCopy Connector Developer's Programme. As part of the Programme, INVU will develop a Connector to integrate the eCopy Suite with INVU document management and workflow applications. This will allow joint INVU and eCopy users to easily capture and transmit paper-based content into their INVU document system using their networked attached copier. This cuts down the amount of time wasted trying to find critical documents that have been poorly filed and makes them immediately referenceable as they can be called up electronically.
"As an eCopy Development Programme member, INVU has access to the eCopy ShareScan Connector Software Development Kit," said Noel O'Dwyer, eCopy director of strategic alliances. "This will allow INVU to quickly create an easy to use Connector that will dramatically improve access to paper-based information."
As an interim solution, joint INVU and eCopy users can now use eCopy's Quick Connect facility to scan paper documents into their document management system. Bundled with the base product, eCopy Quick Connect can easily automate transmission of scanned documents into existing business processes.

INVU document management and workflow applications are easy to use and have the ability to link to any Windows applications or emulate back office systems without the need to recourse to code. The company has sold over 1,000 sites and 15,000 seats. It recently raised 3 million following its flotation on the AIM stock market in January 2004.
The eCopy family of products enables any organisation to transform paper documents into information that is easily integrated into commonly used business applications.
