SATO's Latest Desktop Printer CX400 Brings a Brand New Look to Front Desk Printing

SATO, a leader in barcode printing since introducing the first thermal transfer barcode printer in 1979, announces the release of its latest desktop printer in the "Compact" series - the new CX400 direct thermal/thermal transfer printer. This is a new generation of SATO's desktop printers with a small footprint.

SATO's new CX400 with the 32-Bit high-speed RISC processor allows for maximum throughput directly from standard Windows applications, as well as SATO's especially designed labelling software "Label Gallery".

Suitable for low-volume printing needs, it is able to print text and fine detailed graphics, as well as smaller size 2-D codes, such as Maxicode and PDF417, with a sharp and precise print image.

With a printing speed of 4 inch per second, this compact printer is set to impress. The CX 400 comes with a standard Centronics interface, a flexible interface module (RS-232C), and optional interface modules including 100Base-TX LAN adapter, 10Base-T LAN adapter and USB (all via the parallel port). In addition, you can choose to add on 2 or 4 MB Flash Memory for additional data storage. Designed with "ease of usage" in mind, the CX400 has a wide compartment for easy media loading.

The new CX400 from SATO is compact, versatile, dependable and cost effective for today's demanding labelling applications. With its smooth lines and curves, this is one compact printer you can place on a front desk!
