ImageID to Demonstrate Complimentary Data Capture Solution for Supply Chain Applications

ImageID Ltd, supplier of advanced data capture and asset tracking solutions, announced it will demonstrate the Visidot solution at the ILT 2004 Logistics Event, booth B32, in partnership with its UK partner, Codeway Ltd. Using advanced machine vision technology, Visidot captures identifying data from hundreds of unique assets in a single read with a proven accuracy rate of over 99%. The system exports the captured data to any existing supply chain software. Through the increased visibility that Visidot provides, organizations can reduce inventory, increase accuracy of inbound/outbound deliveries, improve customer service, facilitate recalls and achieve accountability for assets at each point in the supply chain. Visidot provides an ideal solution where RFID may not be reliable due to metal or liquid interference.

Mr. Edwin Birnbaum, CEO Clarity Advisers, will be speaking at the exhibition and demonstrating the Visidot solution. Mr. Birnbaum is a global expert in the field of RFID implementation. He has received several industry awards, including an award for the management of a major RFID pilot in Florida for CHEP, where he was Vice President of Supply Chain Information Services.

Mr. Birnbaum will be demonstrating the Visidot solution on June 8^th at 15:15pm and again on June 9^th at 10:15am.

The Visidot solution includes unique tags that are applied to reusable or disposable assets, readers that operate even in harsh environments and at long distances from the assets, a comprehensive management system and a data gateway. Integration of the Visidot system with existing track and trace applications or ERP systems is performed via an XML interface to provide a complete, manageable view of assets.
