The JOAN Board, on show at Midwich's upcoming Technology Exposed 2017, is the latest in the line of JOAN solutions redefining how offices across the world are being managed.

The paperlike display provides an at-a-glance overview of meeting room availability, helping companies work better, and can be powered for a whole year by the energy it takes to make a single cup of coffee.

The JOAN Board is the newest member of the JOAN family of meeting room solutions from Visionect, continuing the mission of making workplaces smarter through the use of intuitive, sustainable technology that is changing the way people collaborate within an office.

JOAN helps companies manage their meetings and meeting spaces more efficiently, supporting flexible and dynamic ways of working with paperlike displays that blend into the office design. While the smaller, touchscreen JOAN displays outside each meeting room help employees by displaying meeting information, the question of providing an overview of room availability when not at the meeting room door remained.

In fact, the JOAN Board uses so little energy that a single minute it takes to boil a cup of water for your coffee provides enough watt hours for a whole year's worth of the sign's uninterrupted functionality. This unheard-of power efficiency, coupled with a total lack of wires, creates a device that is unparalleled in simplicity of installation and use.

Nasti Susnjara, VP JOAN Solutions, commented ''We're delighted to lauch our new JOAN Board to further meet the needs of our users. We've developed the JOAN Board to further improve office interaction by displaying the status of all meeting rooms on a single screen. Like all products in the JOAN family, the JOAN Board runs on Visionect's ultra low power electronic paper. But even more, it is the first end user product developed on Visionect's breakthrough Place & Play signage concept, the result of a decade of research and market-leading expertise, creating the greenest and most sustainable in office tech.'
