Information, communication and technology services provider, Brother UK, has launched a new mobile print solution, targeting markets which require efficient portable printing in a variety of working environments.

The range consists of four models – the RJ-2030, RJ-2050, RJ-2140 and RJ-2150 – two for receipts and two for receipt and label printing, to help channel partners tap into the buoyant two-inch mobile print market which is growing by 9% year-on-year**.

The lightweight yet robust RJ-2000 series is designed to increase operational efficiency, offering fast, reliable printing from any location. Therefore, the company has identified businesses and organisations in the retail, manufacturing, transportation and healthcare sectors as key targets for the launch.

Lightweight, compact and equipped with multiple carrying solutions, as well as power options for use in vehicles*, the printers can be easily transported, meaning the range is an ideal option for end-users who need to work efficiently from different locations. To name but a few; delivery receipts on-the-go, Queue-busting in-store and warehouse shelf labelling.

With some of the most technologically advanced mobile printers on the market, the new models from Brother are specifically designed to take two inch roll types, helping businesses meet a broader variety of print requirements while on the move and opening up new sales opportunities for partners in a growing market.

Salim Hasan, technical product manager at Brother UK, said: "Mobile print is thriving, so channel partners should focus on meeting the needs of end-users who are increasingly on the move – The worldwide market for two inch mobile printers is also growing by 9% year-on-year**, so this rugged-jet range will help our channel partners to capitalise on a key growth area."

The printers can integrate seamlessly with industry-leading software within the key target markets, so are easily incorporated into customers' existing systems and operations. Workers can also print directly from mobile devices on Windows, Android or iOS platforms via an array of connectivity options, including Bluetooth and WiFi.

All printers in the range use direct thermal printing technology, ensuring guaranteed reliability. With minimal moving parts and no ink, toner or ribbon to replace, maintenance costs are also significantly lower.

The RJ-2000 series completes the company's existing portfolio of Rugged-Jet mobile printers.
