All sewn up: Box Technologies supports PoS refresh in Cath Kidston’s London flagship

Cath Kidston, the modern vintage lifestyle brand, has upgraded its Point of Sale (PoS) system in its London flagship store, with a solution from leading customer engagement technology provider, Box Technologies.

Having started to experience increased failure rates with an outdated legacy till system, which was struggling to keep up with the volume of transactions and impacting customer experience in their busy Piccadilly store, Cath Kidston sought to update its PoS.

The new solution needed to not only deliver a quicker, more efficient service to accommodate the high levels of footfall the store experiences on a daily basis, but the design of the hardware also had to fit in with the stylish aesthetics of the store in order be in-keeping with the Cath Kidston brand.

Cath Kidston chose Box Technologies' Cielo 'All-in-One' system to deliver fast transaction processing and an enhanced customer service experience, given the high volume of customers the store experiences on a daily basis. The rollout into Cath Kidston's flagship store easily integrated with its back-end systems, and the touchscreen interface was easily adopted by staff.
