The Danwood Group, the UK independent print and document solutions company, has signed a new vendor agreement with world-leading imaging and information technology solutions company, Canon.
The agreement focuses on two core areas. Firstly, it allows Danwood to expand its Digital Workplace Solutions portfolio, allowing businesses with high volumes of business critical documents, such as those in retail, food, law and accounting, to enhance workflows and streamline digital document processes. This digitisation can be enabled through a number of Canon-based software solutions, including Canon I.R.I.S and Therefore which allow the simplification of document capture, document management and document quality management including:
- Canon I.R.I.S. – a scalable document capture solution that can dramatically simplify document processes by turning paper documents into digital versions and storing them accurately, quickly and securely
- Therefore™ - document solutions that enable users to process information efficiently, economically and securely throughout their organisation, removing the need to use or store hard copy documents that may be lost or picked up by the wrong recipient. The software speeds up business cycles and enables businesses to remain compliant with legal and industry regulations by limiting access to unauthorised users
- Quality Management Software (QMS) – software which removes the requirement for manual, paper-based quality procedures through an end-to-end, fully mobile solution. It delivers real time quality control and quickly resolves any non-conformance, while instantly logging test results for audit and reporting purposes
The agreement also allows Danwood to expand its Production Print offering into new markets by adding more hardware to its portfolio. As a result corporate customers will have more choice on state-of-the-art devices for graphic arts production.
Douglas Greenwell, Group Strategy & Marketing Director, Danwood Group, comments: "Partnering with visionary companies such as Canon is key to Danwood's commitment to providing customers with market leading technologies and best of breed products and services in all areas of business. This agreement cements a successful and lasting working relationship and ensures that together, Danwood and Canon help businesses implement fast, efficient, reliable and secure methods of capturing, storing and retrieving business critical documents."
Adam Poole, Director of the Partner Channel at Canon UK added: "Danwood has been operating for many years and holds a great reputation in the UK for its print and document solutions. Not only has the business adapted as we move into an increasingly digital world, it's at the forefront of innovation. Our relationship is absolutely testament to that."
