Datamax O'Neil, acquired by Honeywell in December 2014, manufactures fixed and mobile label and receipt printers suitable for retail, field force, warehousing and healthcare industries.
The acquisition of Datamax O'Neil further enhanced Honeywell's print offering which, following the introduction of Intermec in 2013, for the first time had comprised of desktop, mobile and industrial grade printing solutions and associated supplies, complementing the company's comprehensive range of mobile computers and barcode scanners.
Datamax O'Neil's portable printers include ultra-rugged receipt printers, ideal for route accounting, direct store delivery and field service applications. Their desktop printer range is claimed to be ideal for meeting customer needs in retail, healthcare and warehousing environments. The PrintPAD from Datamax O'Neil is an integrated solution offering innovative printing convenience to mobile workers when coupled with compatible Honeywell mobile computers such as the CN51 and Dolphin 99ex.
Datamax O'Neil's newest product offering, the Performance Series, is an industrial printer designed to print thousands of labels per day, eliminating waiting time associated with laser printers. The Performance Series will calibrate and load media with no wastage.
Alternatively, the E-Class is a cost-effective compact desktop printer suitable for a range of applications that require an easy-to-use and affordable solution that offers reliable barcode printing. Honeywell's full printing range is now available through Varlink, from industrial grade label printers, receipt and stationary printers through to compact desktop printers designed for space constrained environments. The addition of Datamax to Varlink's existing Honeywell portfolio ensures resellers can access the solutions suitable to their customers' business from a market leader in printing hardware.
