Opticon adds Model L-50 to its scanner range

Introducing the L-50, Opticon has added a new durable scanner to its current range of barcode scanners. The scanner, which is characterised by a sophisticated ergonomic design and a 'custom logo display area', will be available in two versions: the L-50C and the L-50X.

The L-50C is a powerful linear CCD Imager which smoothly reads all common (1D) barcodes with a rate of 300 scans per second, including high resolution barcodes. The L-50X is a real high speed scanner. This 2D Imager has an editing function and in addition, just like the L-50C, the possibility of LED aiming. Both models are especially suitable for reading barcodes from the screens of mobile phones/PDAs, tablets and computer monitors.

The L-50 comes with an adjustable stand which makes this hand scanner very functional as a desk or counter scanner. The scanner is available in black and white. USB (HID), RS232 or Keyboard Wedge can be chosen as a communication interface.
